Gruvbox Plus Icon Pack, Beautifull Icon Theme for Linux (KDE, XFCE, Gnome)

 

GruvboxPlus is an icon pack for Linux (KDE, XFCE, Gnome) based on and inspired by:

- Suru++
- OneDark
- Gruvbox icon pack
- GruvboxMateria
- Papirus
- and original Breeze Dark from KDE.

GruvboxPlus is using color scheme from Gruvbox, both dark and light color palette.

Icons were created with the thought of dark backgrounds, so it's recommend to use dark themes. Version for dark themes will be available in a near future.

New icons are added regularly so if You don't want to wait several months for the next version of the pack You can install it from github page. You can find all information here.

How to Install Gruvbox Plus Icon Pack on Linux Ubuntu Derivative system ?

To install on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 'Noble Numbat', Zorin 17 and Linux Mint 21.2 "Victoria", press Ctrl + Alt + T on keyboard to open terminal, and run command:

Change to Downloads Folder :

$ cd Downloads/

Download Gruvbox Plus Icon Pack in Github :

$ wget -c https://github.com/SylEleuth/gruvbox-plus-icon-pack/archive/refs/heads/master.zip

Change permission file to get access from users :

$ sudo chmod +x master.zip 

Extract Icon theme :

$ sudo unzip master.zip

 Move folder icon theme to /usr/share/icons/

$ cd gruvbox-plus-icon-pack-master/
$ sudo mv Gruvbox-Plus-Dark/ /usr/share/icons/

or, Unpack it and copy content of the folder to Your home/.local/share/icons/ directory.

$ cp -rv Gruvbox-Plus-Dark ~/.local/share/icons

Finally, open gnome tweak to change icon theme :
